Strategic Planning is the process of defining strategy that sets priorities and direction for an organization to work toward common goals. The plan usually spans 5 years and is developed by senior leadership of an organization.
The Office of Information Technology has created a 5-year strategic plan that will ensure the university has a shared vision for new technologies and services available on campus and in our residential halls. The strategic plan describes Information Technology solutions that will advance the university’s core mission to be student centered; focusing on student success.
The strategy will also direct IT towards our core strategic goals of Supporting the Infrastructure, Securing Our Financial Future, Pursuing Innovation, Enhancing Academic Excellence, and Ensuring Student Success.
The Office of Information Technology categorizes and concentrates all IT work into the IT Focus areas below:
